APPRENTICESHIP: 

Our five-year apprenticeship for Inside Wireman (electrician) and three-year apprenticeship for Sound and Communications Installer (low-voltage/data-comm) are the best in the industry. Our Apprenticeship programs are free to the individual because the cost is built into the overall wage package our employers pay.  This means that our Apprentices have the best electrical training program without the worries of student loans.  You will be paid while working for our employers all the while attending classes and doing homework.  A true "earn while you learn" opportunity.

FOR EXPERIENCED ELECTRICIANS and LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLERS:

There are several ways to join the IBEW. Please contact Ryan Harrell at rharrell@ibew100.org. 

Journeyman Electricians currently are paid $44.50/hr plus whole family medical and pension contributions.  We also offer a wide variety of Journeyman upgrade classes at our training center. Conduit bending, motor controls, EVITP, instrumentation, NFPA 70e, NEC code, PLCs, Title 24, and VFDs just to name a few.  Since we are a state-approved school, all class time is also applicable for continuing education hours credit for the CA state electrician's certification. All Journeyman upgrade classes are free.  The cost is paid for by employers and as part of the overall wage package.
